Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Warangal
Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital was established in 1955 and is based in Warangal. The current capacity of the bed is of 1200, although it started with a number of 80 only and later increased to 150 beds in 1961, 350 in 1962 and 453 in 1964. The hospital is spread over an area of 13 acres and is equipped with all modern amenities. It also offers clinical teaching in various fields except gynecology, ophthalmology, obstetrics and tuberculosis. The hospital offers its services through its various departments including Dermatology, Radiology, Traumatology, General Medicine, Psychiatry, E.N.T., Cardiology, Anesthesiology, Dental, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neuro Surgery, General Medicine, Radio-Diagnosis, Radio Therapy, S.T.D., Neurology, Urology, Pediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery and CT Surgery. CKM Government Maternity Hospital
As the name suggests, this hospital is dedicated to the women patients who are going through pregnancy. The hospital is located in Hanamkonda region of the city and handles over 5000 deliveries per year on a regular basis. The hospital provides all the facilities required by a new born baby and the mother.
