Kakatiya Rock Garden

Kakatiya Rock Garden is a beautiful garden built by the rulers of Kakatiya Dynasty. It is one of the very famous attractions of the city and is located at a distance of about 1.5 Km from the city centre. The place consists of many rock statues of different animal including deer, sambar, lion, giraffe and antelopes arranged in a decorative pattern. Apart from the rock statues many flowers can be seen in the garden. This garden is not only famous amongst the tourists but also is a preferred destination to hang out for kids, elders and old age people of Warangal in Telangana.

Architecture of the Garden is similar to other gardens in India except the rock statues of animals, which you will find rarely in a country like India, where most of the gardens include only flowers as the main attraction.  The garden has many statues of various animals including giraffe, lion, sambar, antelopes and deer. The garden also has an artificial waterfall in the form of rock structure to provide calm impact to your eyes. There are various kinds of flower arrangements within the garden to enhance the beauty of the place. You can see a lot of playing grounds for children here.

Kakatiya Musical Garden is about 300m from the garden which is famous for its musical rock fountain. A lot of tourists and locals visit the place to get a glimpse of the musical fountain show throughout the year, especially on the weekends and public holidays. The musical fountain show is held at 7:45PM every evening throughout the year at this place.

It consists of a duck pond for the people who like to watch birds flowing over the water, a rose garden for the people in romantic journey and a children park for the fun of little children to enjoy themselves with their other friends.
