KazipetKazipet is located at a mere distance of 11 Km from the centre of Warangal. It is adjacent to Hanamkonda and is most famous for its Kazipet Railway Station. It is one of the biggest railway junction of South India and is also known as Gateway to North India. Mettu Gutta temple is also located here. Rahamatnagar, Kadipikonda, Diesel Colony and Ayodhyapuram are the main places of Kazipet. Many banks and schools can be found in this area of the city.
HanamkondaIt is one of the largest areas of Warangal and is located at a distance of about 4.5 Km from the centre of Warangal. Most of the tourist attractions of this city are located here only, which is the reason of existence of numerous restaurants and hotels here. Thousand Pillar Temple, Siddeswara Temple, Padmakshi Temple and Waddepally Lake are main attractions of this area. It also consists of some of the most famous educational institutes including NIT and Kakatiya University of Warangal. Warangal City CentreCity centre of any city is the most famous place of that city. Warangal city centre consists of Kakatiya Musical Garden, Bhadrakali Lake, Kakatiya Rock Garden and Bhadrakali Temple in its jewels. Kakatiya Medical College is another famous destination of the area.
GirmajipetThis area serves as the main destination for all of your daily needs of life. You will find many shops around the area and acts as the centre of the city. Main point of the area is City Bus Station of Warangal. MamnoorMamnoor is located in the outside area of the Warangal and is most famous for its airport, which is popularly known as Warangal Airport. Although the airport is not in use for commercial flights, but it is used for private jets and cargo services only.
Shiva NagarWarangal Railway Station is the most significant place located in the area of Shiva Nagar. A lot of clinics including Bhagya Sri Clinic and Jaya Lakshmi Clinic are located in the area. Some small temples including Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir and Sri Rama Temple are also situated in the area. A church is also located here making it an important area from religious perspective.
ShambunipetIt is another famous area of the Warangal and is mainly known for the Warnagal Fort and Khush Mahal. Both of them are the most visited tourist attraction of the Warangal itself. Apart from them, Municipal Corporation’s Office is also located in this area only. Many schools and hospitals are also situated here. Masjid-e-Mahbbob Khan is another gem of the area.
M. G. RoadIt is another most famous area of the city. Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital is the major attraction of this area. Many theaters, schools, pharmacies, beauty parlours and ATMs are located here. It is one of the busiest and most crowded area of Warangal.
